Annapurna Bhandar Application Status and Rejections
Submitted your Annapurna Bhandar Yojana application? Here's how to check where it stands — and what to do if something goes wrong.
How to check status
- Go to socialregistry.wb.gov.in.
- Log in with your registered mobile number and OTP.
- Open the application status section and enter your application/reference number.
You'll see a stage like submitted, under verification, approved, or rejected.
What each status means
- Under verification: normal — officials are cross-checking your documents against records. Give it time.
- Approved: you're enrolled; the monthly transfer goes to your registered bank account via DBT.
- Rejected: check the reason shown. The most common: name/DOB mismatch with Aadhaar, invalid or non-DBT bank account, or an illegible document upload.
If you're rejected
Fix the underlying issue first (correct the document, update the bank account), then re-apply or file a correction through the portal as the current process allows. Don't pay anyone to "fix" a rejection — legitimate corrections happen on the portal only.
Not receiving payments after approval?
Verify your bank account is still Aadhaar-seeded and DBT-enabled — banks occasionally deactivate seeding after KYC lapses. A quick visit to your branch resolves most payment failures.
